Swimming from San Francisco to Sydney

Sprinting a mile in ten seconds; spending a year on Mount Everest without clothes or food; swimming from San Francisco to Sydney … I don’t think we are likely to see these entries in the Guinness Book of Records in our lifetime.
When I invite people to tell me what comes into their mind when they hear the word STRESS many respond by saying “Too much to do in too little time”.
If we try on a daily basis to do the impossible then it can impair our performance and reduce the quality of our work.
Instead of being overwhelmed by the QUANTITY of work that has to be done ask yourself this question:
“What can I do today that will make the biggest difference in my personal and professional life?”
This shifts the focus to QUALITY. If you then set about doing the thing(s) that will make the “biggest difference” then even if the mountain of undone things still remains you will feel that you have used the day productively.
